Finishing the year 2009 on the mountain on skis. Why not?

So we decided to do a top to the bottom run on our home mountain;
Titlis 3020m to Engelberg 1000m

Green seems to be definitely the colour in 2010 ;-)

After some skiing during the day, we waited for the sun to set and
got ready to walk up to the Brunni hut for our New Years dinner party.



Half way up the mountain we stoped for a little "After-Ski" and enjoyed
a breathtaking view surrounded by the mountains.



Arriving @ the Brunni hut...



....and chatting with good friends outside the hut, keeping ourselfs warm
with homemade "Glühwein".



What a view!!!



Titlis lit-up by the moon at midnight! HAPPY NEW YEAR....

On the way back to the village we passed by a snow bar run by the
local ski-school.



Coffee "Zwetschgen" straight from the fire and....



...Swiss sausage grilled over the open fire on a pitchfork!



In this sense, I wish you all a good 2010!
